Re: Are any of you using a day coordinator?
i'm using Jody from Simplicity Planning. the church supplies us w/ a coordinator for the ceremony; therefore, I will be using Jody for the reception only. she is very helpful and easy to talk to.

Who is paying $150 ????
Please FM the Info.
It in no way is a wast of money - I have been in too many weddings where the bride/MOB is a wreck because they are getting phone calls evey 2 min. NOT ME NO WAY !
Plus a day of will make sure people do what you want them to so you dont run around on your wedding day like a shrew.

I am using Laura @ LA Productions and I am so happy. I don't want to have to worry about a thing and I want to enjoy every minute. It is not a waste of money in my mind.

100% agree... trust me a day coordinator is not going to prevent all problems!\
I know people that have had them... and they said what a waste of $$$$

Not really. the matra d isnt there at the church ( if your not getting married at the hall) nor is he responsible for making sure the other vendors are doing their job/ there on time etc

Re: Are any of you using a day coordinator?
I hired the coordinator for everything leading up to the reception. She will be leaving right after cocktail hour. I am not worried about Flowerfield nor am I worried about my vendors. I am worried about people being where they are supposed to be and stuff like that. I trust my vendors. I am having a very large wedding and I know that if I did not do this, I would be an uncontrollable lunatic on the wedding. Everyone is different. Some people enjoy stress.
