are any of your BMs planning on being pregnant on or before your wedding day?

One of my friends for sure is planning on having a baby in Aug 09, 2 months before my wedding. Another BM will be married and I THINK shes planning a baby soon afterwards.

How do I go about the fittings and things? I know the first one will be about 4 months by the time we look for dresses-how do the dress places fit pregnant people? They dont know how big the person is going to get right?

Anyone know how they go about it? Thanks =)

If they are pregnant when you go for your fitting, I'm sure the bridal store people can help you figure it out. If they're not pregnant it's kind of taking a risk ordering it big... what if they dont get pregnant that easily. Strange enough, it's harder than it seems for some girls.

My sister is trying. I'm going to wait until we're in the 9 month mark to get them that way if she's pregnant early she can get it bigger but if she's not then chances are she wont be so huge for the wedding.

My Matron of Honor will be 8 months pregnant!!

I called the manufacturer or the dresses and asked them to make her dress maternity and they said NO problem. I think she will go for a fitting like 2 months before too.

My bm is planning on trying to get pregnant in october, which will mean she is due in july my wedding). it really bothers me a lil cause she is the type of person that finds a way to bail out on everything. she will not come to my bachelorette party if she is pregnant, so who knows. i cant tell her not to get pregnant, but i am not happy.

One of my MOH's just had a baby in July and one of my BM's is due in October. So I am hoping I can go dress shopping soon. But non pregnant at the wedding. My other MOH is getting married in Sept. hopefully she wont be pregnant by the wedding.

My cousin is pregnant now so she will have the baby before the wedding. I'm looking at a dress that doesn't require alterations and is one size fits all (2-16) so it will be really easy. We still have to look at them and see if we want to do it.

We hung out with friends that have twins and my FH said he wanted to have a baby before we got married....ummm....nooooooo.

One of them possibly may be pregnant but she isn't yet so the most she would be is 5 months at this point. But I wouldnt mind one bit if she was.

my friend just got married in april and her sister was about 4 mths pregnant at the wedding. she had to add sooooo much fabric to her dress. she wishes that she didnt order a size 6 or 8. DEF have them order a much bigger size!! it will work out.

one of mine got pregnant after dresses were ordred (and we ordered a discontinued dress)so she cant even change the size - its coming in a size 2 and she is going to be 5 1/2 months pregnant for the wedding - the bridal salon ordered extra fabric for her and hopefully an outside seamstress can make it work - the bridal salon didnt even offer to do the alterations - they told her take it to someone else - its probably going to be a biatch and i guess they dont want to deal with it....i wish we would have known there was a chance she would get pregnant so we could have prepared for it - but it was a surprise! hopefully it works out - if not she'll have to buy a dress in a dept store or something and wont match with the other girls - but in the grand scheme of things im not worrying about it - if they get the dress to fit its wondeful - if not, oh well, at least its not me thats preggers!
