I think it's fine i would go to one as long as you don't share a bathroom with the other guests..why not.. lol

I've been to one in the North Georgia Mountains and it was AMAZING!! Try to find one that has more modern decor and you will often find a younger group of people/

We went to one in Cooperstown... it was nice, very romantic and clean. We did not share a bathroom (that would be gross) and the food was amazing! The one bad thing is that there was no tv - something to consider. We went to sleep super early because there was pretty much nothing to do!

we've only ever stayed at them in europe, but we stayed at many there, loved it, and it saved us a TON.

no, no sharing here... not looking for an old fogey orgy... ... theres only like 5 rooms at the b&b and each room has its only firplace and sunken tub... but its got that antiquish look to it that makes me think no one in their 20s has ever stayed here LOL ughhh i dunno

I think they are nice, but since they are often houses, not made as separate units, the walls can be thin.

I did that once. it was cute! It was in Hunter Mountain. i went with a friend.. and there was only 1 bed and it was a full size and I went with a female friend for new years! ha ha. we made it work though. we also had to share a bathroom with whoever was there on the same floor. But i never saw anyone else and i never had to wait for the bathroom either. But to be honest with you the house was sooo nice and so old and just sooo beautiful I didn't care. there was a nice room with a big bar. i would go back too.
so I would totally recommend them. It's like staying in a really big house. It's charming and I think a great idea for an anniversary!

Depends on where it is. Like on Block Island they are so perfect. Its like you have to stay at a B&B there to have the whole feel. Sometimes they are romantic.

I don't think they are cheesy either. Fh and I stayed one in Salem and Loved it.. I liked that one cause that had a dining room as oppesed to family style breakfast. The food was really good. The room had a fire place..Awe sooo romantic. Defiantly gonna hit one up again!!!!!!!!!!

I love B&Bs. FH and i have been to our fair share in Vermont. It allows you to just be with each other which I love.

NOT CHEESY AT ALL!!!!!! Do it! I've stayed in 3 B&Bs and have always loved it! It's much more personal and 'warm' than staying in a hotel. And sometimes you get fun things like hot tubs, fire places, etc all to yourself!

We stayed at one in Montauk and we didn't like it to much. We had our own bathroom, but the lady who ran the b & b was very strange! We had a great time regardless, but when the lady says things like 'well you can't have that room thats where I hide the bodies' you gotta wonder!
