Are menus ...

Are menus ...

necessary?

It is 11 days to my wedding and I don't think I am going to have the time to make these/print them.

Do you think they are something I should absolutely have?

Be honest...

No I don't think so, it's just a special touch I wanted to add.....Let me know if you want my template, it's still a work in progress but a lot of it is done. You don't need the stress now so I wouldn't worry about it!!

ps- i love the special touch- I am simply running out of time

ALSO- what kind of paper are you putting it on???

To make it easier on you, you may want to go to officemax in Westbury if this is something you really want to add. They have invite/menu section there were you can pick out the type you want and you easily print on your own computer/printer at home. They also come w/ a link to a website that tells you had to type what you want it to say and also how to print it. I promise, it's really simple. I did this for my e-party invites and I love them. They have a pretty nice selection.......I'm sure you might find something.

Totally not necessary...just an extra touch. Don't stress over it. A lot of guests can be oblivious and not even notice them.

No, they aren't necessary at all. Relax and enjoy these last few days before your wedding!!

If it's not that important to you, don't spend the time. We liked the idea but knew we were going to do it from the start. It turned out to take longer than we thought, as most of our DIY projects do, but we were happy with the end result.

I wish I could give you a template also so you could choose for yourself if you wanted to do it or not but my husband did it all in some weird programs that most people don't have.

it's not totally necessary....we've had them at all the weddings we've been to...but not all the RDs and e-parties held at the same catering halls....it's a nice addition...but i almost didn't do them either.

Not necessary, but a nice touch.

We had our wedding at East Wind's Country Gardens 3 weeks ago, and our Maitre D made up the menus for us, no extra charge. They were simple, on white paper with black letters, but it was good enough.

Maybe you can call EW and see if they will do the menus for you. It can't hurt to ask!

Maybe I will call EW- or go to Staples or wherever and get the paper all set- if I cant do it this week-than I am not doing it at all--- BUT I really do like the idea

Re: Are menus ...

They are definitely not necessary. If you can't get to them, it's ok.
