Are most brides going to the cocktail hour?

And if so, do you show up and then still get introduced at the reception? im newly engaged and have only been to 2 wedding, so i have NO clue about anything :(

same here. Going to the coctail hour, hopefully most of it, depending on pictures, and introduced at the reception.

I'm not sure about this---North Ritz Club has a beautiful bridal suite which they bring food up to for the bride and groom and bp so if we are done taking pictures hopefully we will make some kind of appearance-but i kinda like the idea of being introduced @ the reception without everyone having seen us already @ the reception! BUT knowing FH and his friendly ways he will want to mingle most importantly EAT!! lol good thing i still have time to decide --

same here. We're going to see each other and take pics before ceremony (since its at same place as reception) so we can go to cocktail hour.

We are going to our cocktail hour and then are being introduced.

Us too, we are going to the cocktail hour and then being introduced. We have pictures beforehand, at 8 in the morning that day!

I am getting married and the same place as my reception. We are going to show up early, before the ceremony and take pics then. Most of them anyways. I want to get the most out of my wedding. I am paying for 5 hours, I will be there for 5 hours. if you know what I mean.

I too will probably attend part of cocktail hour. I think we'll eat in our suite and then come out and greet everyone. Then go freshen up to be introduced.

We hope to be at our cocktail hour also and will be introduced at the reception.

We won't be at our ****tail hour. We wanted to be intoduced at the reception without everyone having seen us already. I thought it would take away from the introduction if everyone saw us at the ****tail hour first. JMO!
