Are my rh calculations right?

Are my rh calculations right?

If its $75pp +20% service charge +tax

$75*20%=$15
$75+15=$90
$90*8.75%=$7.87
$90+$7.87=$97.87

$97.87 * 150 people = $14680.50

I'm getting married in a church and fh's parents are paying for that. Are there any surprises I should anticipate? If I invite 165 is it reasonable to plan for 150 or less? TIA!

$15,917.35 is the total if you are inviting 165. So they say if you invite then expect 10-20% of the people not attending. But if your contract states 165 then you are still responsible for that guarantee amount even if they don't show. So if you want to do 150 then invite 150 and if you go over you will pay extra but if not you will save the money. If you do 165 and 150 show you are stuck paying those extra 15 plates

and to do your calculations take the number of people times the amount of the plate then 28.625%(this is gratuity and tax).

ex. 150 * 75 = 11,250.00
11,250.00 * 28.625%= 3,220.31

11,250 + 3,220.31=14,470.31

Hope this helps

you do 20% gratuity and then the gratuity gets taxed unless your contract says otherwise. yet another way the RHs stick you for more money.

Check your contract.. sometimes its gratuity on top of tax and sometimes its tax on top of gratuity,.

If they use the word service charge... most likely you pay tax on it.
