Are Seaman's, Levitz really not the best in terms of furniture?

Hi.

We are looking for furniture for our apt. We need a living room set and a small dining room set.

We looked in Seamans, ABC Home and Carpet, Futurama, Kelly's and I went to a North Carolina Company outlet place today to look for stuff.

In Seaman's I saw a cute dining room set- but I have been hearing from people that the furniture is poorly made and will not last long. I have not been to Levitz yet, but I have also heard from a couple of people that the customer service is not the greatest.

Please tell me your thoughts and experiences.

I just went to LEVITZ last friday with my mom just to get ideas and look around and the sales lady was sooooooooo not nice to me. basically told me i was wasting my time (and hers) because I wasn't getting married till next year. I told her that we were just trying to get ideas because we were curious about how much $$$ to set aside and about their no payments till April 2005--what's it to her if I want to just look around--she was just pi**** because she wasn't going to get a sale.

anyway-that's just my experience. we have gotten furniture from them in the past, but found out the hard way it's not made the greatest---
