its not tacky but its not something i would want on a table near food. or did you plan on having them on a seperate table?

I have only seen soaps as a shower favor, but do what you want. I am doing the perfect pair theme and wanted to do these cute pear soaps. My Mom talked me out of it b/c I think they are using them for my shower.

I think they are a cute idea!

Here is my ONLY problem... if you have scented ones, I would suggest NOT putting them on the table at your settings, especially if they are somewhat strong. Most would think ok , it will scent the room, but it actually can alter the way the your/your guests food tastes (believe it or not). That is why you will never see a restaurant with scented candles on the tables (or at least you shouldnt). I have seen it happen WAY too many times working in catering.. so just a heads up... hand em out at the end =)

I planned on having them on a separate table AWAYYYYYY from food lol....but I've been seeing cuter favors as I do my research. I will be posting again to see what people think of my other ideas. I really want to be cost effective with the favors...don't want something that people will chuck away when they get home. I work too hard for my dollars you know.

One of my friends got married last summer and had a sand dollar theme. Her mom made her white chocolate sand dollar favors...I thought they were these cute little soaps until my friend told me what they were lol. I don't think they're tacky at all...but I do think some ppl might end up throwing them out (sorry!!!). How about edible favors or donations in lieu of favors? Those seem to be the most popular and useful.
