I know that RHs are less expensive on Friday nights and Sundays... but are other vendors also less expensive on off days?

Doubt it - I am doing Sunday. Haven't come across any that said 'Oh for Sunday we will knock off $$$' I WISH.

I think all weekend is prime for vendors...maybe a week day they can discount, but not F - S.

I didn't think so either. I read a couple of articles that said things like limos / bands may be less expensive, but that sounded sort of ridiculous to me.

For example, my FI and I are going away on vacation and booked a limo for the two of us to go wine tasting... same price whether it was a Saturday or a Tuesday!

Thanks... confirming what I originally thought!

no.. we got married on a sunday and there were no sunday discounts.

I think you would have a higher likelihood of having a vendor you want available on a Sunday, but the only discount I saw was the RH.

The only 'break' in price I got for a Sunday wedding was the RH.

I was told by my photographer that he'd nock off a few $ becuase the wedding was close to his studio and early enough in the AM for him to book an evening wedding.... And we're getting married on a Sat in June!

actually I was talking to one of FH's friends and he gave a huge discount b/c they were getting married on a Friday. He said he can book a Sat night all year round if he wants to but he's not always guaranteed work on a fri night. I thought this went for sunday too but I am so far from being a wedding expert.

I know a few friends who got discounts from vendors for Friday nights or a Sunday afternoon.
