Are the centerpieces supposed to match the bo-K's?
Not sure If my centerpieces should be the same flowers and same colors as the Bo-k's. Anyone have any insight?

Mine weren't and I specifically wanted them that way. I did not want to preview the reception flowers.

Mine did because I had a fall theme wedding and I wanted to stay with the same color scheme. I had different types of flowers though. I don't think it really matters either way

My cetnerpieces were tall white calla lillies and the bouquets were mini pink calla lillies. They don't have to be exactly the same but it would be nice if there was something to tie everything together... like maybe take q color from the b.m's bouquets and incorporate it into the centerpiece somehow... Honestly I don't think the guests will notice.. unless the are Bride-to-bes or recently married!!

I am not going to do that because I am having mixed flowers in the BoKs and it was cheaper to just have roses as the CPs

I was just thinking about that today. Because I want peonie and roses for the centerpieces and the bms with be the same but I am not to sure for mine yet

not really. they were coordinated in that the colors and flowers went if placed side by side, but they were different.

I loved the roses in my center piece so much that I had my bouquet done in the same roses but my Bridesmaids roses where a different color.

There are no rules anymore..if you want them to match, they can match...if not, they don't have to.
My CP's do not match my bo-k's. I wanted the flowers to match the ballroom more than the girls bo-ks.

MINE DON'T - But I am using roses for my bo-ks's and they will put the roses as well as other flowers in CPs

You can do whatever you want, no rules. I personally like when they match or something ties in w/ something else.
I agee. I think you could tie them together either by using similar colors or flowers if you didn't want them to be exactly the same.

Mine did not. The centerpieces were red roses, I had white orchids and green roses and BMs had green orchids and pink roses.

No not necessarily. I am doing my own they are floating candle centerpieces. Of course the bouquets arent.
