I thought I heard they were closed, but my friend heard that they are and it is free to get in.

Not really sure if I am right or if she was.

I heard you couldn't go in the water, becaseu of sewage problems, but I am not sure if I heard the full story.

I heard they are free too. I did hear something about the water maybe closed though. Pools are definately open.

teh city beaches maybe contaminated, but LI beaches are open and free - not sure if they're clean though!
