Are there any 2014 Westbury Manor brides out there?

We just booked Westbury Manor today for our wedding on Saturday evening on March 8, 2014. I'm super excited--especially with our food tasting next week and the cake tasting the week after that. My only worry is that, because we are a small party of 60 - 75 people, we'll be upstairs in the Hill Room. There's only one stall for the ladies bathroom! Everything else seemed great and the BM we met with was wonderful. Anyone else booked at Westbury Manor for 2014? If any WM brides from the past would like to share some info on their experience, that would be awesome too!

Congrats LOVE LOVE LOVE WM! I am a 2014 WM bride!! The food tasting was amazing!! Phenomenal food! FH & I couldn't get enough. Definitely best food we have ever had. We did our cake tasting with Francesca's Bakery and they were wonderful too. We picked our cake and are in love with the options. Sandy was a pleasure to work with and we are even using them for our favors. Let me know what else you want to know!

I am a WM bride getting married in less than 2 months. The food is so good. Make sure you meet with Dazzling Affairs (I think that's the name in Franklin Square) because they have mixers every few months you can then taste some of the cocktail food. Feel free to ask any me any questions.

I am there next month! I love that people on here are using that Hill Room, I think it's SO pretty. If it rains, my ceremony will be in there!
Even the bathrooms downstairs are a little small, but I'm hoping there is one in the bridal suite, I can't remember!
I didn't do an official food tasting with them and I'm just cake tasting now but I heard all kinds of raves about the food. I tasted their cocktail food at the showcase and we thought everything was delicious.
They are the nicest staff I've met also, I called my BM with a silly question and they are on top of everything, giving me opinions about table set ups, etc. I am a bride that's a little insecure about the party and all eyes on me, but they make me feel so confident that everything will go well whenever I speak to them!

I'm a WM bride in the manor room. come over to the 2014 boards! I love the hill room, my cousin had her Sweet 16 up there. Love the cocktail hour too. It was great! I don't remember any issues with the bathroom.

Thanks--that is such a relief to hear that! I can't wait to taste the food. I'm bringing my FH, my mom and my MOH with me...she's a vegetarian and super picky, so if she loves it, I'd imagine everyone will. I have an appt with Sandy @ Francesca's for the cake tasting on the 22nd. Which cake flavor(s) did you go with? What kind of favors are they making for you? I didn't even know that was an option. I've been considering doing wine for the favors, but I haven't even really begun to explore all the options yet since I'm a total newb to all of this.

Thank you! I made an appointment to meet with Dazzling Affairs on the 20th of this month. I was happy they're so close to my home in Floral Park. What kinds of things were they able to help you with? Was it choosing vendors or making decisions about how to schedule things the day of the wedding?

Thank you! I thought I was all alone in feeling a little worried about all the details. Both my FH and I are nervous about all the attention being on us, but I have to admit that it felt great to be treated so nicely by our BM and the staff when we booked. I felt like a 'real bride' and it was pretty neat. We're having a small wedding (60 - 75 max), so I'm used to RH's not really caring about us.

Got married there last October but I was at the Garden Room, they were nothing but amazing to my husband and I and to my family. They really pay attention to your needs and you wont be disappointed. I did a review on them here...maybe that will help you. Happy planning!

I'm getting married in WM in June 2014. They let you have a the food tasting this early on? I just book three days ago? Do they contact you for the food tasting?
