I just heard that Al is coming back to OLTL due to so many fans writing in about their unhappiness with their decision to get rid of him. So according to soap opera weekly, he is due back as of 10/14- anyone have any other details on this? should be interesting to see how they will pull this off . . .

I used to work for Ch. 7 & we'd get the scripts a few weeks ahead of time & see the rehearsals on the closed circuit TV. I don't watch anymore now that I'm teaching. Used to love OLTL

i love GH! but i only get to watch it once in awhile. if i taped it every day i would never get around to watching it & at our new house we DON'T GET SOAPNET!! its painful!

I watch OLTL and I was really liking the Al and Marcy story. I have no idea how the heck they're going to bring him back unless he's a guardian angel or something ,but that kindof stinks. I'm looking forward to next week to see what the deal is.

They say that AL will be back in some way but from what I hear, its that Marcy is pregnant with AL's baby.. thats what they mean by ' bringing him back' Good Ole soap opera digest

I watch OLTL and GH when Aidan lets me .... LOL -- Wihich is rare. But I have watched them for years.. I am so glad Jax is back on GH --

That was my guess Jodi that Marci would be preggo. I loved the whole storyline with Al and Marci it was so sweet. I also watch AMC. So who does everyone think killed Michael Canbias?

I tape OLTL everyday and watched PC (I was so annoyed by the ending - what the heck was that?!) I was so sad about Al on OLTL. I remember reading somewhere that people were writing in to keep him from dying and then I thought it worked when it looked like he got through it. I am so pathetic, I watch the day before's episode beofre I leave for work every morning and I was driving to work in tears. I just felt so bad for Marci! I catch GH and AMC whenever I'm around.

I don't tape them but I do keep up with all of them. GH I keep up with the most, then OLTL then AMC. I read the updates on www.tvguide.com and sometimes on www.soapzone.com when someone posts that day's show on the same day (which is hardly ever but they are more detailed than tv guide)
I love GH though. I've been watching for years.
ETA: Cablevision in the Bronx does not have Soap Channel (or FX) so if I don't tape it I can't watch the soaps.

Oneday...they are keeping the actor that plays Al but obviously not as Al himself. Either as a ghost (like Luna's ghost) or maybe another character, but I believe he's not being let go.
