I think that is the most nerve racking thing. I booked with Flowers by Burton, and though most people rave about them in the end no matter who you book with it is all a crap shoot.

Re: Are there any November brides?
Hey Fellow November brides-to-be--sorry I haven't replied but I haven't been on the boards in a while--been very busy!
Here's an update--Because of our budget i decided to cancel Pedestals b/c (after asking a friend of mine who used them) realized they were way above my budget, but everyone seems to rave about them so you girls that are using them should have no problems.. I did go to Burtons & thought their prices were reasonable & they even gave me a purple rose b/c I asked about the different shades of purple that their roses came in & since I am thinking about a wine or mauve color scheme, he also said they have Burgundy colored roses... I haven't decided on a florist yet because I may go with one near where I live in the city thats even more affordable & was recommended...
But the Best news is I GOT MY DRESS!!!!! I am so happy!! After trying on a gazillion dresses in different styles and going to several stores I finally got it!! I am going to try to find it online so I can post a pic!

Re: Are there any November brides?
Here is the link to my dress, I hope it works, it shows the front & back. Let me know what you girls think!! Keep in mind this is not the dress I ever pictured myself in but when I saw it in the mirror--I felt like a princess & I was like -- This is the dress! I felt comfortable & beautiful in it & my sister & the other girls in the store were like that is the dress for you! The best part about the dress was the price, I thought it was going to be so much more than what they told me. I just love the way it sparkles & feels..It comes with a train that is easy to detach & a matching shawl (which is good for November weather)
It looks like the dress that was in the Bridal insert of the last weekends Newsday.

Re: Are there any November brides?
This is what I have booked: hall: Watermill, reception officiant (sp?), flowers (silk, cause I'm deadly allergic), dress, dj, favors, we picked the invitations, but still too early to order. I still have to book everything else, but I think I'm doing pretty good, right? I need to book hair, make-up, limos. need to get shoes, gifts.... oh, maybe I'm not doing as good as I thought. How about you?

Re: Are there any November brides?
Kimmie: isn't it exciting?? I feel it's far enough, but still got a lot to do.
Regina: I know !!! I felt like I had a lot done. But everytime someone asks how the wedding plans are coming along..... I am reminded of something else I didn't think of...
missy: I picked them out from 'The American Wedding album', actually I let FH have a say in that, and we agreed on one.
I don't want to stress out.
I hope you guys are enjoying the planning & not going crazy.
How is planning coming along? I am working on booking my honeymoon. Where is everyone going?

Re: Are there any November brides?
Hi there. We picked our invitations and will order them soon. I actually just found a tiara I love and will hopefully be ordering a veil soon. I still need to pick a florist!! I got my Save the Date magnets in the mail and now have to send them out with the hotel information that we blocked off. Anyone else?

Re: Are there any November brides?
I did not think to place the hotel information in the save the date card. I have out-of-towners calling me worried... I have to tell them it will be in the invitation.
