Are there any other October brides...

who have not gotten bridesmaid dresses yet?
I feel like I am falling behind. I need to order bridesmaid dresses and find someone for alterations on my gown and order invitations and do Pre cana. Anyone else or am I really behind....??

I'm a late Sept bride and I'm in the same situation! I just finally decided on my dress, and we're deciding on the bridesmaids dresses this week....
Pre-cana seems to be filling up, though. I just spoke with the Diocese at Rockville Centre and they only have openings in June right now...I want to finish it sooner rather than later, FM me if you need their number and other information.
It's hard to take care of everything with the same level of priority, but I think the sooner I finish the big things, the sooner I can relax and enjoy the fact we're getting married.

I haven't gotten them yet either - I am looking at the moment and can't find what i'm looking for. Hopefully by the end of the week i will succedd though.

Don't worry i still have to do florist, invitations, bm dresses, etc....

I picked them but we haven't orderd them yet....Hoping to do it soon, within teh next 2 weeks or so.

ETA that we did pre cana last month and haven't ordered invites yet. Don't worry, you aren't behind!

I'm with you. I am having a hard time getting my girls to go try on the dress. i've had the dress picked out for months!!!

I am Oct 1 - I just got the girls to order them 2 weeks ago. I had it picked i just needed them all the try it on - I have a range of sizes and the dress really looked great on all of them and they all felt comfortable in it.

Hey October girls:
I am October 1st and this last Saturday I decided on the bridesmiad dresses. 2 of my bms need to get measured still but thankfully its over. It was more stressful getting the BM dresses than getting mine. I have a super skinny maid of honor who thought everything made her look fat.--Crazy. At last, she was happy, I am happy, and I picked the dress I originally wanted. Looks good on all sizes.

Good luck. I still have invites, limos, veil, jewelry, honeymoon and little things left too.

I still have alot of things to do myself. I am still waiting on one of my BM(cuz) to give her deposit to order all of the gowns. I left three phone calls two emails and even called my uncle to tell her for the third time to please give her deposit so the rest of the girls don't have to pay a rush order fee because of her. This is the last week to order the gowns

When Friday comes and she still hasn't put her deposit, I am ordering the gowns without her.

I still have to do invites, rings, BP gifts, FG/GB gifts, parents gifts etc... To much to list.

God I need a drink

I dropped off a deposit for 2 of my bms the other day, and the woman at the store told me that I should have everyones dress ordered by May 1 to ensure on time delivery and time for alterations...they wont order any of my bms dresses until they are all paid for...wish my bms werent slacking off! I still havent picked a fg dress

I know how you all feel, we should FINALLY have an OCTOBER thread. Its so weird, I am less than 6 months, but still have tons to do. I haven't even begun to think of invites. I still have to order my limos, shoes, veil, candle, etc. My FG girl dress is not yet ordered either. I think we have sometime. Summer will be chill and thats when most will get done. MENUS and programs is what is killing me softly bc I know theyhave to be done but I dont have all the info to do them

yeah!! that's a good idea. i'm in Oct also.

Need to finalize bm dresses and invites within a week, so I can move on to florist and limos. we've done some research but a few more steps to go to booking.

I'm working on finalizing the flowers right now. I haven't even brought any of my bridesmaids to look at dresses yet - I really don't care too much about it for some reason. I still have a lot of little things left to do, but I am so glad I have the major things out of the way.

I'm still waiting for my BM's to mail my a check to cover the costs of their dresses which I laid out since they are OOT. Does that count?

Sorry for the delay in posting - I know several other brides are using this dress as well. It;s Watters & Watters. I was SO HAPPY that EVERYONE looked so good in it - AND THEY felt comfortabel in it and felt beautiful in it and THAT was even better!!
