Are there any parks on LI not covered in duck poop?

Maybe it's because I live closer to the water (Mass Park) but so many of the parks, although very beautiful and kid-friendly, have so much duck poop all over the place. It's quite disgusting. Anyone know if it's a seasonal thing or what? I'd hate to think we're always going to be dodging the poop or in my case, when you have a 16 1/2 month old, trying to stop him from picking it up.

I know how you feel! There's a kiddie park right around the corner from us, and the lawn is also covered in poop! Thankfully, the area with the swings/jungle gym is fine, but the lawn is virtually off limits.

I'm not sure there's a park that doesn't have this problem.
