Are there any special ed HS teachers?

When I went to get my MS, they changed it from K-12 to K-6... I want to get my cert in 6-12 - how do I go about doing that?

I think it is just a matter of applying for that license and paying for it (in NYC). I used to team teach high school English inclusion, so I'll ask my old partner.

you have to choose to be certfified in either elementary or secondary. If you choose secondary (7-12) you have to choose a content area to go along with the special education certification. FOr example-I'm secondary special education and English. FM me with other questions:)

Is there any way of going about it without going back to school? I can NOT do anymore school at this point - I am done - I was hoping there was something I could do to extend my cert to HS...
