I am going to meet Shamma for lunch & I wanna wear long pants & closed shoes.

The subway grosses me out!!!!!!!!

I've been taking the subway every single day since I was in high school and I'm now 27. In all that time, I've only seen one roach. You'll be fine!!

Jenn, there aren't roaches on the subway. You're also travelling mid-day, you'll be fine I promise!!

I have never seen roaches on the subway,,,but I have on the platform (big ones too). But I don't think they will actaully come over to you. (If they do, bring some extra food to feed them )

Hold on... they are there! Their population is kept in check by the rats, ya' know the food chain and all that....

Seriously, I have only seen one roach in a car in six years. You had to see it, men, women, scampering all over the car!

PS-don't look up when on the platform, I have seen many rats bold enough to run along the piping....

I havbeen taking the subway for 13 years and this is my experience:

1 roach in train car
20+ huge (very huge hissing light brown and exotic-looking) roaches/waterbugs on the platform at Columbus circle station. they were coming out of a closet and just hanging around. yuk! yuk! yuk! still have nightmares
0 rats on platform
2 *********ing men

i drive everywhere.

I used to work in the city untill a guy jerXX ed off on me on the train while standing behind me & you know what ON me Since then no more trains.

Ive never seen a roach on the train but yesteday I saw a rat running around on the tracks.
