Are these earrings 'wedding-y' enough?

I've had my heart set on wearing blue earring with my dress, but my mom thinks they're not 'weddingy.' I saw these this weekend and love them, but I'm not sure if they're fancy enough. Thoughts?

If you want blue, I would suggest sapphire earrings or something similar like fake sapphire. Those are nice but look like something you would buy from a stree vendor in the village and would wear with jeans.

I'm sorry I don't love them. If you want to do blue I would stick with saphires
