are these necessary?

The little tags that go on your favor box..that says like, your monogram and then the date... I am debating whether or not i want them

I'm doing my own favor tags.....you Don't have to have them if you don't want them.

it looks really pretty ... you can also do that standard ribbon with your names on it and the date. You can get those pretty cheap at like party fair/party city

Looks pretty I don't think they are necessary as I'm not doing them, but it does add a nice personalization! I'm just not much (or at all) of a DIY'er

i dont think its necessary but if you already have it then yeah might as well use it.

I waited until last minute with favors and didnt get to use favor tags. I just put ribbon around my boxes and thats it. I was a bit annoyed before that i didnt get to do something like this but then day of i didnt even care lol.

Its up to you, don't feel pressured to do anything with wedding stuff. I think that happens alot when planning, you think if you wont have a certain something it will effect your wedding. I bought these placecards to go with my theme and was going to put crystals on them. The last week i had so many mishaps and took longer to do certain things so didnt have time to do this until last day. Well i never ended up using those placecards, i had to do them quickly to bring them to the RH. I was upset at first but you know what, the day of my wedding i didnt even see the placecard table, and i was over it and didnt care lol

I bought them off ebay 250 (double sided) and address lables for about 20 dollars.

i dont think its a neccessity but they add a nice touch, you said you have them done already so why not just put them on if you took the time to make them

Personally I am doing CD favors and not wrapping them. My cousin had hers wrapped and guess what they ended up in the garbage.
Dont get me wrong I love the idea and if you can do it go for it. If I had the money I would but, have to cut corners where I can.

I think I actually like the favor boxes better without the tag, because they look so crisp and clean, but the tags are really nice in and of themselves, so if you have them, why not use them?

I was going to say you could use them as coat check tags if you opted out of putting them on favors, but I doubt in July you'll need those!!
