Are these tacky, or no?

I kind of like these to hold our place cards. We are having an all white color scheme with gold accents and I thought these were cute and different than picture frames. But I'm afraid they're cheesey looking.

My honest opinion- yes, cheesey. I haven't been able to find placecard holder that I like, so, I opted to do without! Good luck!

I dont think they are cheesy looking. Its not like they are yout favor. They are just the placecard holders. The gold will look nice with the gold accents of your wedding

We got them in white/silverish color to hold the place cards. Not cheesy at all.

its a cute idea...... i like them but if your so worried, there are a bunch of other shapes that they have with the wire attachement for placecards..

I don't love them.
If you are thinking they are cheesey - don't do it.
Go with something simpler if you are worried.
I don't think you need something fancy for the place cards

I don't like them. While I don't think they are in your face type of tacky, I do think they are slightly cheesy.

I happen to think they are adorable. Put some candles on the table with some scattered petals and I think it would look great!

do they have them in all silver or all gold? i'm not sure i like the mix of the 2. i personally think all silver would be great!!

if you have gold accents and you like them, i say go for it. after the wedding, your guests can use them to hold a picture in, so it's not like they are wasted!
and the heart symbolizes the theme of the day - LOVE!

They're ok. They're more cutesy than classy, but I don't know if I'd go so far as calling them tacky. I have a couple things like that for photos on my desk, and the thing I don't like about them is that sometimes the pictures get a little crooked. If some of the place cards were crooked when they were all lined up, that would drive me batty.
Anyway I guess what I'm trying to say is:
Would I use them for my place cards? No.
Would I think 'oh how tacky' if I saw them at a wedding? Definitely not.
