its supposed to snow again tomorrow....

Yea C....2-4 inches is what I just heard and then turning into ice!!

Im not liking this bitter cold. I came into work this am to NO heat!
Im looking forward to my FL trip come March!

I know that since im a teacher im supposed to be excited about snow and snow days and delayed openings... but it is the last week of the semester and my kids are falling SO behind!!! They arent going to be able to finish their stuff!!! URGH!


we are going to Vegas soon... is it warm there too???

Hmmm....when are you going? It gets warm around April/May.

My sister is a Kindergarten Teacher too. I sat in one time and I almost peed my pants cause they were funny! Tough though...need lots of patience!

they are quite funny...

the other day I mentioned to one of my girls that I was getting married. Very seriusly she said 'I hope you aren't going on a honeymoon'

I asked why and she procceded to tell me that honeymoons are gross and boring and she will never go on one or get married. (this is a 5 yr old)

So i asked her if she was ever on a honeymoon... she said no... so i said how could you know they are boring and gross if you never went on one... she said I just know... I tried to explain that they are a fun vacation... when she finally told me: 'well shrek went on a honeymoon and I thought it was boring and no fun! so i wont go on one or get married!'

I almost fell over...

then during the next class a girl asked me what a fiance was... so i told her it was someone you are goign to marry... so then she asked me if I would change my name... i told her i wasnt sure yet... after telling me that just because her mom changed her name I didnt have to because everyone makes their own decisions... she then asked me what my new name would be, so i told her, she tried so say it then said 'yeah i wouldnt change my name either' and walked away!!!

here is another one... last week we were making Native American Pinch pots... so i was explaining who the native americans were... I told them that they were the first people to live here... all of a sudden I hear 'but i thought adam and eve were the first people to ever live here!'

oh boy... i pretended i didnt hear that!

They are too much!!!!

Their minds just go and they are sure to SAY whats on it!

I couldnt teach them..I would be laughing at them and encourage them cause once you laugh, you know they go for more!

today this poor kid had white paint all over his face and I thought he looked so cute... i didnt tell him!!! im such a bad teacher!!!

Poor kid probably got made fun of cause of the paint on his face!

You had to see the drama with the newlywed board and anyone who wasnt a newlywed going there and answering posts, they werent happy! Poor Salsbride06 got upset but all settled now.
I read it on the newlyboard and phew, it was getting ugly!

So thats how you get their attention...DRAMA!

isnt the pending snow a cause for some drama
