are u having both parents walk you down the aisle

and are they still married to each other? my parents are divorced and they both want to walk me down the aisle. obviously this is NOT a problem, just curious.

same situation here. they dont gt along but since my mom was the one who really raised me but my dad it the one who traditionally walks down his daughter, it was the best choice to have them both walk me down so no drama and no disrespect to either of them

Both of my parents are walking me down the aisle - they are still married.

Of course my mother doesn't think its 'right'. She'll get over it!

My parents are divorced and only my dad is walking me down the aisle. I brought it up to my mom and she said she didn't want to take that moment away from my dad.

same here. As much as I would love to also have my mom walk me down the aisle, I have always dreamed of that moment with me and my dad.

I am having both parents walk me down the aisle. My parents are divorced and my mom raised me pretty much by herself so I want her to be a part of it too.

yupp I am and my parents are divorced.

THey have a very civil relationship now. I was lucky when they split they both didn't talk bad about eachother to me or my sister. They kept it between them.

So I asked my father first if he would mind (only bc I know he always thought of it as a father's honor) He told me to do what I wanted it was my day. Happily, not like condicending..

So here is what I am doing....

Both my parents will walk me down, when we get to the front pew, I will 'seat my mom' she will give me a kiss and take her seat. My father will walk me to the alther (about another 8 feet) and officially give me away.

ETA: if the aisle is to tight... my Mom agreed to let my father do it, she was really happy I asked her and understands that is out of our control.

My parents are divorced and they are both walking me down the aisle....I think....the reason why I say I think is that I am trying to see if the aisle at the church can fit all three of us. I think it can, but I have to do a test run of that.

My parents were never to married and went their separate ways when I was young and both will be walking me down the aisle. Wasn't an easy decision for me to make but I think when I look back I'll be most happy that I choose both,

I am not sure. My parents are still married. I know my father looks forward to walking me down the aisle but I kinda of want my mom to walk with us. She keeps saying no and to stick to tradition..so we'll see! :)
