You should double check..generally you keep the vases, but if they're on high stands or something you don't keep the stands... I've never been toa wedidng where you don't keep the vases! Although $1700 for 18 tables sounds pretty inexpensive, so it may just be you savrifice the vase to get great flowers for a low price. Ask about how they distribute the centerpieces at the end of the wedding, then? I've seen one wedding where theere were cabbage roses and they wrapped them up in cellphane and gave 3 to each woman...

I always thought the cost depended on the flowers.

Nsgraham has a great budget vendor's website and within that there is one website where florist vases are sold. They are dirt cheap but not crappy quality. I ordered votive candle holders from them.

Maybe you're better off buying them yourself and having the florist just putting the flowers in them. But ask them first because they may not want to do that.

I don't know why they won't let the vases go. If you saw how cheap this site sells them for, which I'm sure most companies sell them for the same price to florists, it seems petty for the florist to want to keep the vases.

If you look at nsgraham's profile you'll find the website there.

The prices for the centerpieces sound reasonable considering they come out around $94 dollars each but at that price, I think you can find a florist that use vases so that the guests can take the CP' s home. What kind of flowers are you using?

it depends on the vases you will be using i was going to use really tall pilsner glass vases for my wedding and i had to rent them and the centerpieces could be easily removed so they could go home with people. i decided to change my concept though because i was afraid my family would be walking out with the vases or my sister would be drinking out of it
