Ok, so I was reading a book - 'Blink' by Malcolm Gladwell. If you have not read this book, I HIIIIIIIIGHLY recommend it.
The book is about your snap judgements, your subconscious, and how powerful those both are.
In the book it mentions these tests filed under a project called 'Project Implicit.' Developed by Harvard, the tests are designed to see what your subconscious thinks about various groups (arabs, african americans, people with disabilities, gays, nativce americans, jews, etc.). There is a test for each of these groups - you choose which one you want to take.
Any of the tests take about 5 minutes...but I think that they give you great insight to who you are. While I think sharing the results on here might be too personal for some people, I think anyone/everyone should take at least one of these tests...

I did the career one and my test said I associated men with career and female with family!

I always like to THINK that I'm very much a women = advancing, become a career-oriented person....but I wonder if my subconscious thinks differently......

Same here. Thats why I was shocked. As someone who has been pursuing her career for almost 10 years now, I thought it would be different. But like you said, our subconscious could be thinking something different.

I did the gay one.
I have a slight automatic preference for straight people compared to gay people.
I plan on doing more....

Okay now this is strange. It says I lean towards straight people which is nuts cause 90 percent of my friends are gay! I better not tell them!
