Are you all changing your last name to his? Or, are you adding his on to yours? I'm not sure what I want to do. I really like my name. So, I might use both last names. However, it might be nice to have the same last name as my kids. What are you doing?

for paperwork by just adding your DH's last name to yours do you have to sign both last names all the time?

I am definitly changing my name. I have been waiting a long time for this and am counting the days til I marry the man of my dreams and take his name.

I'm keeping mine until later. I have too much to think about now and I'll deal w/it after the honeymoon.
I like my name. I will either add his onto mine and use both, or just keep mine. Either way, our kids will have both last names.

I can't wait to change my last name---it's a 14 letter Russian last name that noone can pronounce!!

I'm changing my name to his for everything in the future and I'll change everything that has my maiden name as I have time to do it (credit cards, bank account, etc.)

Jumping for joy over changing it- it means losing the connection to people that I don't like!
Only wish I liked his last name more!
Maybe I can scramble all the letters and come up with a new one!

Changing and oh how I cant wait.
I move up in the alphabet, no more getting made fun of my last name, no more of it getting constantly mispelled and no more of people having a hard time trying to pronoune it.
I changed...never really thought I would keep my maidan name...but I will tell you its hard...
getting the marriage license they had to ask me a few times if I was sure...I think I must have looked all flustered...then when I changed my SS, I asked if I could hyphenate there...even though it wasn't on my marriage certificate...I expected them to say no...they said yes...and I was all flustered again...
in the end...I changed completely to his...and I am getting used to it...but it was hard to do a new signiture...so I throw my maidan initial into the signiture...
