I was just wondering if you are choosing the bridesmaid dress yourself or are you letting the girls decide or maybe narrowing it down to 3 & then have the girls pick from that???

Thanks girls!! I've just been seeing specific ones I like and wasn't sure if it was rude to narrow it down or outright pick it because i originally planned to have them just pick it... I'll see.... Thanks for your help!

first i was going to do seperates and they could have picked out whatever top they wanted and have the same bottom- that didnt work as planned when I went so then I just told them to go around davids and pick out something they liked and if i liked it as well all the girls would try it on- it worked that that the first dress my sister picked out went perfect on everybody (minus one who wasnt there) so we went with that dress although I havent ordered it yet i have it on my wish list

I'm giving them a choice of 3. Each of them compliments any figure, so I'm hoping it'll work out with no drama. The choices are basicly the same style, so I can't go wrong either way!!

I'm taking 2 of the girls (both cousins) to a few stores in April and we will go from there. I'm looking for designers with multiple styles and the girls can pick whatever they are comfortable in. We will narrow it down then tell the other 2 girls what their options are and majority will rule.

I picked them, but i chose a dress I knew everyone already liked (we wore it for a friends wedding and I am just changing the color).
I was dredding dress shopping, I hated doing it for my friend and realized if i already knew of a dress evyerone liked and i liked and looked good on everyone with everything else there is to do for the wedding why not just take the easy way out.
My MOH who is in a wedding this May just had horror stories about the wedding party (i think 7 girls) trying to agree on dresses. Ugh...

It may sound bltchy but i picked it out - my MOH helped a little bit - bit I pretty much showed them a picture of it!! I think they like it!!!! It was very easy for me - I didn't have to worry about conflicts!

I am narrowing it down to several choices then having the girls choose the one that they like. But if they show me something that is within my 'theme and vesion' I am open to suggestions.

I am picking the same color scheme and picking four styles out....two girls per dress since i am having eight girls in my wedding party....i havent decided yet but these are the dresses that i feel in love with...check out the sight....
im either going to get them in the burgandy/salmon or the rose/ivory...its the striped chiffon style.....and i love the tea length since i have a nice june wedding...
I am going to pick about 3 or 4, and then they can all vote on it, so they can come to an agreement. The most votes wins!!!

I am selecting a few and will have my MOH decide on 1 or 2 that she loves and then will let the other bridesmaids vote. MOH and I share similar tastes so I trust her! Also, I thought it would make her feel extra important.
