Are you choosing their shoes too??

Hi Ladies,

Shoes for your BP? Are you choosing those as well? I asked for suggestions from my BP, (heel size? leather, satin, etc) and of course, no one will me any ideas.

I'm beginning to feel a little overwhelmed because I can never get my BP to give me ANY feedback on what THEY have to wear! (Makeup, hair, jewelry, and everything else!)

I might as well be talking to a D A M N wall!

I just told them silver and strappy. I don't care if it's open or closed toe- whatever makes them comfortable.

I'm a MOH in my friends wedding and she picked out these shoes for us in silver (with a lavender dress)

Oh and by the way - thse are from Nine West and were only $69

I just told them what color shoe to wear. That way if they already had a shoe in that color they didn't have to go out and buy something new.

I told my girls to go to the same store and pick whatever each girl liked. One picked strapless,one picked a high heel,one liked a small heel,etc.
I told them to pick whatever they wanted.

i'm telling them color and then they're on their own. i don't care. who's gonna be looking at their feet anyway? they should be looking at me same with hair and makeup, i want all hair up, but how they get it up is totally up to them. i trust my girls so it will work for us, but every bp is different.

I will tell them open or closed and what store to go to (because I want them all dyed together), but I will leave the individual style up to each of them.

I know how you feel. I sent the following e-mail to my bridal party and no one got back to me either

Hello all,

A number of you, have asked me about shoes for the wedding so I've finally made a decision. I really like the following blue
sandal from Nine West. The sandal is $69.00. If this is too much or if everyone hates it, the alternative would be for everyone
to pick out their own shoes but they should be black strappy type sandals. What does everyone think?

I told them what I wanted... I did what EvenEdan says... give them an idea of open/closed, height of heel, etc... they can go ahead and pick a shoe, as long as it fits that description!

I chose the color but let them pick out their own shoes...I wanted everyone to be comfortable.

it might be easier on you to just specify what you want them to get - such as color or open/close toe. let them pick out the actual shoe. the brides in all of the weddings i've been in have done this and it seems to have worked out well.

I didnt care. My BM dresses were ice blue, so I didnt care what they chose. Most went with white sandals.

They can get whatever they want, as long as it's black and open-toe. (for the formal photos)

After that, they can go barefoot for all I care!

No. I don't really care what kind of shoes they wear. As long as they don't wear yellow shoes with the wine colored dress, I don't care I am also not concerned with how they wear their shoes or waht jewlery they wear. As long as they wear the right dress

i'm being picky with everything else, so i told them to look for a platinum shoe that they would be comfortable with.... and let them choose what they wanted!
