your reception hall? and I dont mean the tables...like are you going to add anything extra to the overall apperance of the reception hall???

Other than the tables, we are having the hall put up white christmas lights around some columns and rails. But that's it

Nope! Just the centerpeices. I guess it depends on where you are getting married. If you're getting married in a very simple place you may need to.......if its already got stuff in it there is no need. Simple=elegant

oops sorry forgot to elaborate entrace to reception room. White organza draping something like this
outside area of cocktail hour (WHITE paper lanterns) Im not to sure if im doing this yet though
gold perimeter spotting (my dj does this)
some sort of draping on the ceiling

Probably not, I was thinking about doing those sheath (sp?) things, where they hang across the ceiling and then down onto the floor around the room...but I like my room just the way it is

I hadn't given it any thought until I visited my hall the other day and the CH literally had 3 plants in it. very disappointing....now I don't know what to do

We are going to bring a ton of picture frames and set them up all over the fire places to give our place a more homey feeling... I thought it would be cute for people to walk around and see where they are in the pictures.
And a ton of other stuff.... I better get working....

I've been trying to come up with something kinda funky so it's more 'Me.' My whole family has been to Chateau La Mer for a few weddings, so I wanna personalize the place this time

not really - just LOTS of candles.
I bought 144 votive holders to spread out all over...the tables, the bars, the mantle, the waterfall, etc.
