a boudoir shoot?orginally I thought it's going to cost hundreds on dollars so no way. then a bride posted on bhb board about a groupon for $99....u get one hr shooting time, hair and makeup done, and one 5x7 photo ( might be framed for u too I don't remember that) oh and photographer is female! ( which is important to me!)
so long story short I'm considering it now! BUT is that $100 well spent? or a waste?
s
here's my thing...fh will probably like it in the beginning, but what does he do with it later on?? where and what would he so with a 5x7 framed sexy half naked picture of my lmao!?!?!??
so what r u ladies doing?
what r your thoughts on this??
I'm all ears, I want to hear it all, the good the bad and the ugly! lol

I think $100 is good just for hair and makeup! LOL. Can you purchase the other pictures they take or is it just the best pic out of them all? If so, you can make an album & he I guess can look at it from time to time. I did one for my FH's birthday awhile back but maybe it all myself props, makeup, hair, self-timer etc & I worked sooo hard on it & he was surprised at first then I dont think he ever looked at it again. It was kinda disappointing! Are you planning on this being your gift to him the day of?

Re: are you doing
FH has mentioned it on more than one occasion lol.. I don't know how comfortable I would be doing it. I'll have to see when it gets closer or maybe for a one year wedding anniversary

Crashing!I'm def going to do it, but I'm going to purchase the cd of pics so I can make him a little book (shutterfly or whatever) as a wedding gift. Something to keep in the nightstand, just for him. He doesn't even know something like a buodoir photo shoot is even a thing so it'll definitely be a surprise!

I've thought about it, but just don't know if I could go through with it. I think I would have a really hard time trying to look serious/sexy for the camera! Haha

I have thought about it... I would like to but have to see where our budget leaves us. But $100 is a good price, I would not pay much more than that.

I made the mistake of telling FH that there are things like this out there and now he brings it up all the time lol (our wedding is two years and 10 months away--easy cowboy!) I told him we'll see. I don't want to spend a ton of money on something that he's going to love in the moment and then never look at again. The deal sounds good, but I wouldn't be able to resist buying the rights to all the photos and having all of them to choose from and make into a book, rather than just one pic in a frame. We'll see when we get closer how we're doing on budget and if it's feasible.
