I'm doing a bouquet toss but not the garter. i don't like the whole idea of FH going up my dress in front of 100 people haha.

This is part of the reason why we're not doing the bouquet and garter toss, the other is FH and I aren't big on being the center of attention.. so me sitting in front of all of our friends and family with him half way up my dress, would be just a bit uncomfortable.. lol
FH really wants to do both tosses, so I agreed. rather not though...

Not sure if I want to do a garter or bouquet toss. FH agrees with me. FMIL is kinda stressing that it's 'tradition' and we should do it. I say.... $%#! tradition!

OMG yes this! I was beet red just dancing with my fiance at our engagement party (just the two of us, everyone looking at us...)... if dancing makes me feel bashful, I will pass on the whole garter thing lol. Plus I have seen some awfully raunchy ones that I would like to not have seen! But I will wear a garter because I think they look cute, assuming we do not fall into exhaustion-related comas after the wedding...

this was my situation... at 35 & 36, most of our friends are already married or in relationships. not sure there would have been anyone to participate had we wanted to do this.
