it'll be $350...a lot of money and i just feel like it's not going to cover everything. i read the 'fine print' and it's not 100% covered...knowing my luck, if something goes wrong, insurance won't matter.
we could really use that $350 elsewhere right now...but then again the HM was very expensive so i don't want to lose that either.
FH does NOT want trip insurance since we've never taken it before on our trip to europe, etc.
did you/are you getting insurance?? please only answer if you know for sure.
i need to decide by thursday when my last payment is due

OUr insurance for the Honeymoon is only $150...I think its worth it because anything can happen...I'd rather lose the extra $150 then lose the $6000 we are paying.

my old roommate works in travel she made me get honeymoon insurance because she said you never know.. but i only paid 150.00 thats the standard she said

our travel agent did ours, so i'm not sure of the company, but i would suggest you definitley get it, just in case......

Shop around. It doesn;t have to be through your travel agent. It is a good idea though. Just in case.

Leaving out of Miami to hit the Caribbean in September? You bet I am!!! Especially after last year's weather! (Hurricaine Wilma parked herself on Cozumel one year to the day before we were supposed to be there! )

definately do Hm insurance. One of my friends went on their honeymoon and 3 days into their HM there was a family tragedy and they had to go home ASAP. The insurance covered their entire HM cost. It was so worth it. You never know. You are spending thousands on the HM whats an additional $350.00 ?!?!?

Ours is very expensive too, but last year I went to Australia and got sick. If I didn't have the trip insurance it would have cost a fortune. Also, someone else on that group tour got so sick they had to fly back home. Trip insurance covered the whole thing.

We did just in case someone is sick, etc and so we're not out $5k. However, our insurance was only $35/pp or something around that.

I think (not 100% sure) that you can add on the insurance before the whole trip is paid for. If you have already paid it off then its too late. Like I said Im not 100% sure....when I worked at Liberty travel that was the deal. It can only be their policy but i would definatley check with tha TA you used!!!
