Are you doing place AND escort cards?

To clarify-

Escort cards lead you to your table.

Place cards tell you where at that table to sit. Often right above your plate.

Anyone doing both?

Thank you for the information about the different cards. That it very interesting. I was erroneously calling the escort card 'place cards.'

I read in a Miss Manner column that at a party you were supposed to seat couples appart so that people will mingle more. As I read that, I could just imagine how that would go over. LOL

We will just be doing the escort cards. (And are guests will also be seated with their dates.)
