I plan on doing my own hair, though I am getting nervous about it. If you know what you are doing, tell me about it

Re: Are you doing your own hair?
Hey Darcy - you have really pretty straight hair, so it will be fine to do your own hair. are you thinking of having it up or down?
I have really thick curly hair, so I'm probably having mine done - though I have no idea what I want done to it.
Good luck!

Re: Are you doing your own hair?
well I wanted to do a half up and half down thing. But I was going to curl it. FH doesn't like my hair curled. He does like it when I have it all up in a clip. But I was trying to go for a beachy theme. I don't know. Thought this would be easier. Oh and I grew my hair out so I could do stuff for the wedding, and now i am thinking I might just be better off getting it cut

Re: Are you doing your own hair?
after having two make-up trials i'm doing my own, mostly because i love make-up and know i can do a a-ok job at it. but i think hair is much harder...do you a have a BM you can practice doing your hair with. if i was going to attempt to do it myself i'd definitely practice once or twice. i will definitely practice my make-up before the day so i know exactly what i'm going to do and not making it up (no pun intended-haha) as i go along.

yeah I have been practicing and looking at pics and stuff. I should go out and get more supplies, hair clips and such. Also, maybe I should just go and get it cut.
My hair just keeps on getting caught in the tiara

Re: Are you doing your own hair?
Is there any way you would consider getting it done? It just seems to me that it's a lot of added stress to your day to try and get it right. I know I would NOT be able to handle it if my hair wasn't cooperating and I didn't have a professional there to help me.
