I'm just curious is everyone from LI? I am actually from Indiana, but came across this site while looking for wedding forums and I like it, so I joined :) lol Are there others who aren't from LI, and if so where are you from?

I'm from LI but FH is from upstate. WE plan to live on LI for a long time, if not forever, since we bought a house here.

I was born in Brazil, came to the US as a little girl, I grew up in Newark, NJ. When I met my FH I moved to Queens were we lived for 4 years. He's originally form Queens and since we're getting married in LI, I joined this site to find out more about vendors in the area. XOXOXO Kitty

I have lived everywhere...but LI. I consider myself a New Mexican..all though I lived in the Carolinas for a total of 9 years of my 23 year life. FH was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens.....school in LI.....and summers and weekends at the beachhouse in LI. Getting married in Brooklyn and reception in Queens.

Grew up in Rockland county (30 minutes north of manhattan) FH is from LI. Lived in NYC for 2 years and now we live in LI for the last year together

Born in Jackson Heights Queens, raised in Rockville Centre and Baldwin.... lived in PA, Chicago and NYC before just moving back this year.... back home to save for the wedding and got a teaching job on LI. FH is born/raised LI too from Suffolk.... another planet to me! lol...

born in oceanside then bounced arround freeport, floral park, ammityville, bayshore, levittown, back to bayshore, back to levittown, a stint in manhattan, and now finall howard beach....just typing it makes me tired...I HATE moving uggh I already told FH as soon as we can afford a house were moving and staying there!

I was born and raised in the same town on LI and 26 years later, I am still in the same house.
