Are you getting centerpieces for your cocktail tables?

Are you getting centerpieces for your cocktail tables?

We will have approximately 20 small tables for our cocktail hour. I didn't even think about the cost of decorating these.

What kind of decoration are you putting on cocktail tables?

Maybe I'll just add flower petals and candles. I don't know!

Grrrrrrrrreat. Another cost I wasn't thinking of.

no, don't even think about it. people sit down get up sit down get up. They are usually small tables and by the time people put their plates, glasses, purses, and whatever else on those tables they are so crowded anyway. Don't give it another thought!!

Check with your hall...mine provides some kind of candles or something for them. I'm not putting anything else on them.

My venue provided votives, and that was more than enough. Do not even think about it... your guests are only concerned with food and cocktails at that point

my venue provided centerpieces, I could have changed them, but they were pretty and I didnt want to spend a lot of money on them...

if i were you, i would do something simple....votives and petals maybe-or just votives (and the hall prob has those already)

I agree. Ask your hall before you go and purchase anything. They may provide some type of decoration for the tables

i just bought simple beach themed votives for the tables, i agree with the other posters your guests won't even realize if there is nothing there....gl

We had votives and that was plenty. It's not worth spending the money, your guests will be getting up and down and it is really just an hour. Our florist included them in our package.

if my RH wasnt proving them i was going to do anything. like someone said in the past post above, people get up and leave and they are only there for an hour why waste money for an hour? just my thought. my RH is giving us votive candles and thats all thats going on the table i rather put that money towards something eles more useful. My RH is providing centerpieces for the cocktail hour. Originally it was budvases with a single rose on each table, but I asked if they could do small fishbowls with a single floating gerbera daisy in it. (less to knock over in my opinion!)
Good luck!

My hall provides candles and we're getting some petals from the florist.

I'm just doing little teacup roses in a small glass vase. My florist included that in the price though.

We didn't. Our guests wanted all the room for all the food and drinks they were devouring. Our CH was outside and everyone was enjoying the sun and catching up with one another.

My florist included it in our price but it was a total of $40. We are having a rose floated in a bubble vase on each table with rose pedals around the vase.
