I just noticed on my contract i could get buble bowls for ch (15) for $150, should I?

I've been thinking about something really simple and inexpensive, like small bowls filled w/ short stems. I don't like the ones my hall has!

check with your florist...some that i met with offered rose petals at no additional charge. Your CH can scatter them on the tables...

Our reception site provided complimentary (free! ) bubble bowls with roses for the CH.

I would not have paid for this had it not been provided. Waste of $$, IMO.

On each of the small guest tables we will have crystal t-bowls filled with floating varied colored roses and galax leaves.
(Or so says the contract)

Ditto, the only thing is they have no idea what color roses they use for the bowls on a day to day basis. I could care less, either way!!

THe hall provides bubble bowls with sand, seashells and candles to match the theme

Nope... Forget that... At cocktail hour my guests will be too busy stuffing their faces, they wont even notice the decor.

That's a good price! We're having the florist decorate the mantle above the fireplace, and that's it...there will be votives on the CH tables. Believe me, I couldn't spent more $$ to decorate the CH, but my florist and Mom talked me out of it.

I am. My hall provides them, but I wanted orchids, so I am using the glass bowls provided and puting orchids in them.

Our provides something very similar. The last time I was there, it was gerber daisies not roses, but the colors and flowers are changed weekly. Not something I would otherwise pay for.
