yup... you definiteling want to be 100% sure how you will be getting your proofs... i jsut assumed that my proofs would be either reg pics or a CD..... what i got from my photographer was a DVD slideshow with music in the background that gives no way to flip through the pics at my own pace or to go back and forth between pics.... and a booklet with the thumbnails that are about 2 inches big and hard to see..... its making it VERY hard to look at the pictures to pick the best ones for teh album... so definitely be 100% sure of how you will be getting the proofs. just don't want you girls to go throught what i am

Just a piece of advice-you can tell a good photographer by the fact that he'll give you all your proofs and negatives back, whether its is a CD or film form...
ETA: negatives is what you really want

We are definitely getting picture proofs and i'm hoping he'll put them on CD for us too (since he did that for our e-pics)!
same here....
i like having the proofs so i can spread them out on the floors and compare them...that is just my lunatic self!

We're getting a proof book with small (2x3??) proofs and a slide show set to music on DVD that includes all of our proofs. We're also getting all of our proofs, hi res, on CDs, but we're paying extra for that.

There are no negatives if your photographer is using all digital....

we are getting 4X6 proofs (should have 600-800) and we opted to get all the proofs on cd in high res for $300 (i guess this would be the equivalent of buying your negatives for film). www.timexposures.com ~lacey

I am getting regular proofs which is what I wanted but you also get to view them on-line where you can change from color to black and white to see what they look like which is kind of cool. I would rather have them printed than on a cd.
