Are you girls....

planning on having children right away when you get married? Or do you plan to wait? What is everyone's decision on this?

we are going to wait a little while. FH will have one more year of law school and I will have only taken the bar 2 months before the wedding

We're going to wait. I'm going to be 25 when we get married and just starting off my career. I want to be stable in my career first. Also, Peter and I want some alone time. We're probably going to start TTC 3 or 4 years after we get married.

We are going to wait, wait, and wait some more. I am only going to be 23! I need some time to party before I become a mommy! Also I would like to have a house first. Plus I don't think we could support a child at this point with our salaries. We need more money!!!!!!!

Been there done that, LOL! We have a little 16month old , okay ! I wouldn't trade her in for anything, not even partying or being alone with FI, and I am only 23.

I def. agree with the 'alone time' Marcela...FH and I only see each other once a week so I can't wait til we are married and finally living together so we can see each other everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to wait just about 1 yr then get trying. I am excited for children, want a few or more. I love children and come from a large family. We already picked out names

He wants one right away. He keeps telling me when we are ready what vitamins to take. I am going to be 30 when we are married but I still want to enjoy our time alone before the pitter patter of little feet. But it is sweet thinking about it.

Well if it happens, it happens...
I really want kids, 2 or 3. But after last weekend, seeing FI's paramedic partner's newborn (he was a day old when I held him in the hospital) I realized how much a commitment it is. So it was a wake up call. I don't think either of us are ready for them now. So we said 2-3 years after the wedding, we will re-evaluate. I want to enjoy our marriage and then...

We're waiting 1 year first till we start trying, unless we get an unexpected surprise before then....

We HOPE to start right away, but that is assuming we have the cash, and that house renovations are coming along ! (we have nowhere to put a baby yet!)

No way! We definitely want to wait a few years. As much as I want children, I'm not ready to make that kind of lifestyle change yet. My half brother and sister were born when I was in high school and I helped out A LOT. It made me realize how much goes into having children. Having kids changes your life in so many ways. I want some time to enjoy being kidless for a while. And we also want to buy a house first and who knows when we'll be able to do that

NOPE!! We want to get a house first, FH start school then me, him finish then work on the little ones!! Plus we love to travel and since we have been deprived for over a year, we want to splurge a bit as newleyweds..
We got the names and middle names. Just depends what gender comes out first!
