or someones kid will touch your dress at dinner time with filthy hands? im so paranoid about this, my husband suggested i go around in a sorta 'pope-mobile' lol. but really. is anyone worried?

I am worried about this- and I was not.. but I was at my friend's wedding in May and during cocktail hour- I witnessed someone spilling white wine on her dress-- they had a glass of wine in their hands and went to hug her, WHILE HOLDING THE GLASS!
Serious moron- but at least it was white wine.
I would rip someone a new one so fast they would not even be able to say 'gastroantonoligist'.

Ok funny story, at my sisters wedding during the CH, she decides she wants to eat some food.. we all gather a plate a fork a knife so she doesn't go near the food tables. the minute she tries to put something in her mouth, splat right on her dress.. We got club soda right away and it came out mostly (you couldn't see it for the rest of the night) and this was pasta sauce no less!

I actually had a nightmare about this. We're taking our pictures before the ceremony, so me and my girls are getting dressed at the hotel and we have a good luck/congrats toast before we leave the hotel and as I clink glasses with my MOH, my glass shatters and red wine all over me!!!! The rest of the dream was me crying cause all my pictures have a big red stain on the front and everyone sees me for the first time at the ceremony with my big red stain. Not to mention that none of my vendors showed up in the dream. No eating or drinking allowed withing 20ft of me!!!!!

Iam more afraid of me spilling something on my dress, but if something does get on it, use a cloth napkin and some vodka. (no joke it works) I used to bridal attendent and used it on brides before

I always drop something on myself, I am convinced that, that is why I have boobs, to catch all the crap I drop on myself. No doubt I will spill something on the big day.

Bring white chalk with you. You can use it to fix smudges that happen throughout the day. It won't work on red wine, but on little things, it'll take care of you well.
