are you girls practicing the first dance

before hand?
we took dancing lessons but to be quite honest, i think once our day comes, we're going to do our own thing anyway.

anyone with me?
i just feel like we're going to be so stressed that we're not going to be paying attention to the fact if our steps are right or not...

we're doing a waltz, we're practicing the waltz moves in general but we're not choreographing a dance or anything. So yes, we are practicing

we did a 'surprise' dance, so we practiced that part but for the sweet part of the song we just did our thing

There is not a chance that I will get my FH to dance any time except at the wedding, and that is still a maybe.

We choreographed a whole dance the week of the wedding. It came out pretty good but everyone knew that we were mouthing the moves to each other as we danced lol

We took lessons and plan to take some more, but neither of us want anything specifically choreographed for us. It's just one more stress the day-of that I don't want to have to worry about! If we happen to remember the steps, GREAT! If not, we can fake it

we have to practice because FH is not very coordinated

We are taking dance lessons right now, but honestly FH is so nervous about dancing in front of everyone that if we just do our own thing I will be fine with it. FH really has no rhythm which is why we are taking lessons (at his request). He is more nervous about dancing with his mom - She has only danced once with his father in over 30 yrs of marriage!

FH is a terrible dancer and is freaked out about embarrassing himself in front of everyone - I literally just got back 5 minutes ago from booking dance lessons at a new studio that opened around the corner from me! It was definitely a sign! I think we're going to learn a modified waltz or a rhumba LOL!!! But since we waited until the last possible minute, we only can do 3 maybe 4 lessons.... we will have to practice every night in the dining room!

DH and I also had dance lessons and impressed the crap out of everyone for the first dance...

Everyone thought we'd just do our own thing but only his parents knew we were taking lessons...so it was a big shock to everyone.

We will be starting dance lessons to our wedding song by the end of this month...I have been doing tap, hip hop and ballet dance lessons for years but it's not the same thing, and FH is worried that we will look dumb...I'd rather be prepared than not even though that's one more thing that costs $$$

We tried dancing to our first song, bc it isnt slow, and then we choregraphed it! Cant wait!

We started taking dance lessons at the local high school...and we dropped out! It was going wayyy tooo slow...and like FH pointed out, are we really going to do the foxtrot for our first dance? Prob not...

We did the same thing!! We have no furniture in our dining room right now so when we come home from lessons we practice in there!
