if you are planning to TTC in your first year of being married... when do you plan to stop using birth control?
i use the ring and want to have a few months of it being out of my system before we try. my scrip is up in september and i think i'm just going to be done then.
or has anyone recently spoken to their gyno about this?

I plan on talking to my doctor about this next time I go. We go back and forth with the baby thing, but I'll probably go off the month after the wedding. I'm very nervous because I've been on the pill since 19, so 10 years of my life. Ugh, my skin used to be horrible until I started. Hopefully I don't break out all over.

we think we want to start trying about a year after the wedding....we might decide 9 months after tho. i was thinking i will stay on for about another 6 months after the wedding!

the last time i went to the OBGYN to get another 6 months prescription of BCP she started with the whole, i guess i will be seeing you right after the wedding to get ready to start trying to conceive. i told her that she was crazy & she said well when you think you are ready you will want to come off BCP about 3 months before.

Ummm... probably two-ish years after the wedding... even though I'm an old hag we're definitely NOT going to start trying right away....

I stopped already, but because I just got sick of taking it. I want to have it completely out of my system too bc I've read when you do go off it, it can take at least a year and I'm not waiting 5 years to have kids lol.
