Are you going to be...

Surprised about your shower or know the date?
I am knowing the date and place. It's very hard to surprise me and also I wanna know the date so I look good! My mom actually booked my shower yesterday. She is just as bad as me in booking things far in advance LOL My shower is going to be @ The Pompei in West Hempstead on 10/12. It really is starting to feel so real. I am getting so excited

i will know everything about the shower, i even suggested places to my mom. I don't like being the center of attention so i agreed to a shower as long as i know all details! lol

My mom and FMIL secretly booked it, but they have since told me the date. I go to lunch on the weekends with no makeup and my hair in a ponytail. They know I would be PISSED if I showed up looking a wreck for my own shower

Im too much of a control freak and hate surprises so Ill know. Plus its at my parents house and we live in the upstairs apt of their house so it would be kind of hard to hide it lol

I gave my BP suggestions of where I want to have the shower. I also told them the theme, must haves and I am making a pinterest board for guidance.

My MOH told me the date, time and where it will be. No one else, will know I know..lol I think my mom,would be totally broken hearted if she knew. I just told my MOH, I'll give her a dress and heels to bring that day, that I can change into once I arrive. I need everyone to 'think' I'm being surprised :)

I'm extremely OCD about this type of stuff, plus I work weekends, so when I told my Mother that it would be easier if I knew the date ahead of time... she told me I was a pain in the butt & will probably get told it ahead of time anyway. When I told my manager at work that I was going to be told the date, she said 'No no no, give your Mother my number and we'll work it out....'..... but.... I wanted to know!!!!

My mom secretly booked the date and place. They didnt want me to know the date, but I threw a FITTTTT. I am a controll freak and needed to know. I wanted to have my hair and makeup done right for the occasion. I however dont know the place (offically), but I have a feeling!!

actually now my shower date was changed to 9/28 due to family confirmation on 10.12

My sister/MOH mother and FMIL booked it's a secret as well. I told my sister whatever she plans on makin up to get me there that day, she better make sure I have my hair and makeup done!!! I love the fact that ill be surprised (I've never been surprised before). But I'm so nervous!

I am going to be surprised. My sister is going to do it but I told her whatever she does make sure I look nice that day.

I'm not really big on surprises and I didnt think I like to control, take care of or be on top of everthing until i started wedding planning

I'm glad I'm not the only who doesn't want to be totally surprised by this! My family made me feel like I was being a party pooper because I didn't want to be surprised!

I have a really hectic schedule. So, I gave them dates that would work well for me and said they had to tell me what date and the time. But they could keep the place a surprise. I thought that was a fair compromise and I'm glad to see that it's in alignment with other people's plans.

This is totally becoming more real every day!

I'm a control freak and my mom refuses to tell me any details just to watch me squirm! I told her she better make sure she has my dress and shoes because chances are if she surprises me I'll be in a hoodie and sweats! :)

I've been to a couple of showers at Pompeii (one was my baby shower a while back!), you'll have a lovely party.

I hate being surprised, so I insisted on knowing when and where. We just booked the other night. My mom and MOH and working on some kind of theme that they're keeping from me though, so I'm a bit worried lol.
