So I was excited about my dress purchase and was telling my fi and he asked what it looked like...I said I would not tell! Call me old fashioned but I think it should be a surprise...What are you all doing...telling or not telling...?

Nope, not showing him, and he doesn't want to see it. I once showed him a pic while I was still looking, but he says he doesn't remember. It wasn't my dress then so it doesn't count anyway!!

Superstition says you shouldnt ask the groom to participate in dress selection, never mind showing him the dress...the first time he should see you in that dress is when you walk down that isle. And knowing how men are do you really think he is going to look at your dress?? He is going to be happy to see you finally...so you can hold his hand at the altar

He doesn't want to see it or know anything about it. I think it's kind of cute and I like that he's sticking to tradition. He knows it's simple, because that's what I've been telling him all along that was what I wanted. But other than that, he wants to wait until the ceremony to see it.

Not telling him anything. He knows I bought a dress and how much, that is it. We are being very old fasioned with the wedding.

Well I haven't ordered mine yet, but I won't tell him. I want my boy to be suprised....want my dad to be suprised too!! But my FI is so traditional he won't ask any thing about it any ways!!

I'm not sure mine even knows it's been ordered, or that it actually already came in. It will be a total surprise to him on the wedding day, I'm not even describing it to him.

I am not telling... when I first got it, he kept asking me about it and joking around about but I never said anything and if I did it was to throw him off... I'm keeping it a suprise untill the second I show up to walk down the aisle...
