a garter with thigh highs? I want to be able to go to the ladies room without too much trouble!

I think I am going to do the garter thing. You won't have any trouble in the bathroom, I have done it before in wedding parties and it was no big deal.

I actually wore capril stockings...so I could have bare feet...but still be ****ed in...and it wasn't bad to go to the bathroom at all...but I didn't have a train...

I planned on doing the garter/thigh highs for my hubby, but you could see the detail through my dress, so I ended up with regular pantyhose.

Stockings because I am just used to them.
Someone I know got a bad rash between her legs the day of her wedding. I guess it was really hot and she was wearing thigh highs so her thighs rubbed together. I wondered if that was common, but I guess not. I wish I was more adventerous!

haven't decided yet. i may need control top pantyhose to **** in my belly. but if not, then i'm going with thigh highs.

I wore stockings, but after the first dance I took them off and put on my wedding sneakers (and socks). Nice and comfy!!!

We didnt do the garter thing so it didnt matter

just commenting on the thigh high and rash thing...a friend of mine got this as well...she also said that the thigh highs dug into her thighs so bad that it left marks for over 2 months!!!

I am not sure, I guess it depends on the shoes I get. I think I might just wear pantyhose if I have closed toe shoes and nothing if I have open toe shoes.

my Matron when she got married her shoes were white motorcycle boots so she wore just socks.

I wore thigh highs and it was much easier to go to the bathroom. If you do the garter with stocking I would wear your underwear over the garter for the ease of going to the bathroom. I would also try out the thigh highs before to make sure the elastic is not irritation to you skin. I ended up developing a rash where the elastic was about 1 day after the wedding - thank goodness it wasn't the night of.
