we will be saying the traditional vows. i like them! We dont have a choice anyway b/c we are catholic but if we could, i wouldnt..

We are doing both. We both wanted to say something personal to each other before we say our traditional vows. We both agreed that there is just so much more we want to say on our wedding day. I hope I don't turn into a cry baby.

i am definitely. i cant wait to start. i have so much to say. i think i will def. start crying when i hear FH say his vows to me. it is personal and truly gives an accurate depiction of our love for each other.

but anyway i think there is something so special repeating the same words that millions of other couples have used to pledge their love for each other

No. I'm waaaay too sensitive. I cried when I watched father of the bride the other day. I am so sensitive, the thought of saying traditional vows to my FH makes me want to cry, I could not even imagine if I attempted to write my own.

i always dreamed of the repeat after me church vows...and if i said my own and had to listen to his...that would guarentee waterworks....i will send a card over with the best man for him to open that morning that will say all my own personal heartfelt feelings

Nope... doing the traidtional Catholic vows. And I wouldnt' want to add anything to them... they've been said by millions and millions of people for 2, 000 years... I like that my parents, grandparents, etc. etc. said them and that they were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
