Are you leaving before all your guests, or after everyone has gone??
I always imagined I would have a grand exit, but now I'm feeling this is a bit...pompous? or something?
Not trying to knock anyone who does this, but I'm not sure if I want to leave before everyone...

I don't see anything wrong with it. Its your day...do what you want.

I do plan on doing what I want, I just don't know if this is something I want!
Any further input ladies? Are you having one?

no grand exit for me, fh and i are going to party until we are the last ones left . but if you have an early flight in the morning for your honeymoon or something like that, i think a grand exit is something nice to do, i dont think it is pompus at all.

Not me... the cleaning people at the WM will have to sweep me off the dance floor... then again our wedding is over at 5:30.

No grand exit for us....but I always thought that leaving via boat (if your reception is on the water obviously) was a nice touch!

Im not having an exit either, We're going to leave after we've gotten around to all our guests, after that, we're leaving even if there are guests still at the hall.

Nope, we'll be the last ones out of there. My dad and other family members whom I haven't seen in years are coming, so I want to spend as much time with them as possible...and then off to our hotel for pre-Mexico sleep!

Yep, I agree. We're probably going to be the last ones around just letting everyone know we'll meet them up at the bar afterwards! But it does make sense if you have to leave before everyone else to maybe give a speech thanking everyone, yadda, yadda, yadda. I think its a nice gesture!
