Are you inviting coworkers?
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I'm invited about 20 people from work. I've known them for about 5 years though.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
i'm alternating between inviting them and not inviting them. right now, i say yes, but who knows what i will decide when it comes time to mail out the invites. imo - if you are close to one or 2 i would invite them, or if you don't want anyone to feel excluded, don't invite anyone. 5 months is a short amount of time to know someone well enough to invite them to the most important day of your life.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I think i am going to invite a couple and their boyfriend and husbands.... only the people i actually see outside of work
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I am not inviting them, with my job it is all or nothing(if you invite 2, you have to invite 10 more). I dont want to hurt anyones feelings and my list is over right now so not inviting them was our best decision.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
probably some... id say anyone you see outside of work.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
i have a small office of like 18 people and there were a few i was very close to but i couldnt invite some and not all so i invited them all lol. they were there for me through the engagement and all the planning and listened to me stress and helped me make minor choices so i was glad that could come and see the finished product. with all the husbands and wives i think i had about 30 people from work all together. im glad i did it though

Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
My office has about eight people and I'm inviting all....with husbands/wives. IMO it's bad taste not too invite them with their spouses.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I have been at my job only 5 months now and when I get married it will be just about 9 months and I am inviting them....
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I'm inviting five or six that I speak to outside of work with their spouses or significant others. My FH is in the same position as you in that he has only been at his job for a couple of months. He's inviting a couple of the guys that he works with and is very friendly with and his supervisor.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I don't think how long you've been at your job shoul.d even matter. I've been at my job for 4 years and I didn't invite anyone. I felt that I couldn't pick and choose and even though we all get along great, none of us get together outside of work.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
We are inviting only a half dozen co-workers (people we would call friends, not just co-workers) and also my boss, who actually introduced me to my FH! We consider him a friend. I have told all of my co-workers from the beginning that we have limited space. Plus, we live in MD, so it is an out of town wedding for the co-workers and I think they would be less inclined to feel bad about not being invited.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I am inviting some...as of now.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
yes, i work in a smaller office and with the exception of like 3 people that i'm inviting from work they really are my friends outside of work. the other 3 i kinda just have to invite b/c
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I am inviting 4 of my coworkers with their significant others...I have known them for over 6 years...They are like a family to me...In your case, you will only be there 5 months so I don't think it is necessary unless you get really close with them by that point
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
i'm inviting a few people, mainly my bosses who I've worked with and been friends with for years, and 1 or2 more coworkers and spouses.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
No I dont like any of them. ( I only work with 3 other people)
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I'm not sure yet...I only started working here at the end of October so I'll have to see how it goes.
Re: Are you inviting coworkers?
I am inviting all of mine- 10, each with a guest. Forgot to add- I will have been at my job for 3 1/2 years by the time my wedding rolls around.
