I am asking because my friend has a wedding tomorrow night. She is on LI and the wedding is in CT. She was married in July. They are staying with fh and i tonight...
BUT she called me and asked if it would be ok if her DH stayed with us while she was at rehearsal cause he wasnt invited...
all the bridesmaids are out of staters and many have boyfriends/fiances/husbands and NONE were invited.
She was mad, and I also thought it was kind of odd...
What are you girls doing?

Re: Are you inviting significant others
I'm inviting all significant others to the rehearsal dinner (especially if they are OOTers!). I really thought that was protocol....

Re: Are you inviting significant others
We're inviting significant others. And OOT SO's should absolutely be invited!!! I could understand her being upset, her DH should've been invited!!

NOPE! Not even married ones...Not inviting OOT guests either!
How much more money do I seriously need to shell out?????????
Strictly the Bridal Party and our Parents! I'm not even allowing the parents of the FG and RB!

Re: Are you inviting significant others
Yes, I will also invite significant others, (regardless of whether OOT or not) but just regular OOT's - no!

Re: Are you inviting significant others
I was a bm, and she didn't invite our significant others because her mil was paying and she said no.

Re: Are you inviting significant others
If you are inviting people from OOT what is the SO going to to while their SO is at the dinner? Sit in the hotel room? I think the SO's should be invited. If you invite them with their SO then they should be invited to the dinner.
ETA: This happened to me. It was in California and DH was invited to some outing before the wedding, but the wives and SO's weren't. We didn't know each other and didn't know each other existed. I knew no one in California. So I had to find something to do the whole day to busy myself w/o a car at the hotel.

Put him in front of a TV with control of the remote...THIS USUALLY works for 90% of men!
