Are you inviting your officiant to your reception?
I'm not sure what to do. We haven't really met with the person at all they are just coming the day of and its at the RH and we are paying her so do we have to send an invitation to the wedding??

when we met with one officiant she said that she books more than one wedding in a day and never really stays at any so i don't think we will end up sending in an invite if we book with her.

We will be inviting ours along with his wife (he's a deacon and married), and will leave it up to him whether he wants to attend or not.

We will, but he is also a very close friend to one of the couples we are inviting, so I think he may actually come.

I'm not.... I've met the guy once and I'm pretty sure he said he does more than one wedding per day so he probably wouldn't be able to stay anyway...

Yes our officiant will be at our reception; he is FH's pastor and he's such a sweet old man and we would love to have him and his wife attend our reception. We will be sending him an invitation but your situation is different than mine.
I don't think you need to give her an invitation.

I wasn't planning to originally, since we were hiring someone we didn't know, but he mentioned at our meeting that we didn't have to have him stay if we were trying to cut costs....which makes me think he wants to stay...the thing is that if he stays, we'd be paying him his fee and a half basically. Gotta think this one through!!
